Title

Roman HLSS Grism Simulation Products

Description

The Roman HLSS Grism Simulation Products are representative of the planned HLSS data, for use by the Science Investigation Team and the community. The simulations cover an area of 4 square degrees over the redshift range of 0 < z < 3. By incorporating the survey parameters of the planned HLSS, such as detection limits, exposure times, roll angles, and dithering, the simulation products have been created to resemble as closely as possible the future observations. In addition to the grism slitless spectroscopy, they also simulate the direct imaging that is used to locate the spectra.

This dataset or service is made available by the Infrared Science Archive (IRSA) at IPAC, which is operated by the California Institute of Technology under contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
