Detection of the 3.3 micron feature in the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151.

Abstract • The emission feature at 3.3 micron has been detected in the near-infrared spectrum of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151. Although not yet identified, this feature is seen in many galactic thermal sources, and its presence suggests that at least a large fraction of the infrared emission in NGC 4151 is due to thermal radiation by dust.
