Tracing the evolution of the quasar luminosity function (QLF), especially at the faint end (M_UV>-23), provides potential insights into the origin of quasar systems. Prior to the launch of JWST, identifying faint quasars mainly relied on their point-source morphology and the distinct rest-frame UV radiation features, including the sudden drop across the Lyman or Lyman-alpha break. In this presentation, I will present the ACS-Grism follow-up observation of the faint quasar candidates at a redshift of 6 in the COSMOS field selected by their rest-frame UV photometry drop-off. I will discuss the relation between our targets and the faint AGN-like sources discovered by JWST, and derive the quasar luminosity function based on our observational results.
