Many different varieties of surveys are underway to look for new exoplanets. I will discuss two of them, the KELT transit survey and the MARVELS RV survey. I will describe the current progress of each survey, and will focus primarily on science that can be accomplished by combining the data from the two surveys. I will show how these datasets can be utilized not just for exoplanet detection and confirmation, but also for research on eclipsing binaries and comets. These efforts demonstrate the synergy and serendipity that can arise from coordinating multiple surveys.
