IPAC, located on the Caltech campus, is not under direct threat from local fires at this time, though it is subject to the effects of strong winds and poor air quality. Many members of the IPAC community have been impacted by these events, and IPAC will follow Caltech guidance on closures and safe operations. S M T W T F S

The WISE mission has provided a list of candidate debris disk stars in the solar neighborhood. This list provides a new sample of field stars which are ideal for direct imaging searches for planetary companions. I will discuss the process we have used to identify these sources in the WISE Catalog, as well as major findings associated with the sample. I will also present preliminary results from follow-up observations.
