Downloading LWS Interactive Analysis (LIA) Version 7.3

Starting today November 9, 1999 the LWS Interactive Analysis (LIA) version 7.3 is ready for you to download. As for the previous version, LIA 7.3 is valid for OLP version 7 data only.

Major improvements with respect to previous version include:

LWS calibration observations of Mars are now used to perform the Fabry-Perot throughput correction in FP_PROC.
FP_PROC now has the option of allowing the user to display full grating scan data (AOT LWS01, if available) on top of the FP data for the source in question; this is useful to make a more reliable estimate of the dark current + straylight in the FP data.
Extended functionality of the /update keyword in IA_DARK. If you now want to improve the DC subtraction for, say, 1 detector, you do not have to do the job all over again also for the rest of the detectors.
Most inspection routines can now produce PS plots, using the /hardcopy keyword on the command line.

Requirements

ISAP 1.6 or later version, should be installed on your computer. Click here to learn how to download and install the latest ISAP version

Step-by-Step Procedure to Install LIA 7.3

Shift-Click here to download the gzipped tar file lia_7.3.tar.gz; the file should be placed in your x.x/ directory of ISAP (i.e. the directory that contains the files 'isap', 'start_isap.idl', etc...), where x.x is the version number of your current ISAP installation.
In the x.x/ directory, unzip and untar the lia_7.3.tar.gz file.
Make sure that the contents of pro/lia and /pro/lia/lia_inter directories are world-readable
Simply type 'isap com' to enter LIA
