Downloading LWS Interactive Analysis (LIA) Version 7.2

IMPORTANT NOTE: LIA 7.2 is valid for OLP version 7 data and it is only available for ISAP 1.5 and 1.6. Please note that if you made a full installation of ISAP 1.6a then you will need to install LIA7.2a: click here for details (you DO NOT need LIA 7.2a if you upgraded 1.6 to 1.6a via the PATCH).

Major improvements with respect to previous version include:

• Full compatibility between FP_PROC and interactive routines IA_DARK and IA_ABSCORR. Now FP data can be reprocessed after dark current has been interactively subtracted and using absolute responsivity correction factors deterrmined by the user.
• The middle button of the mouse can now be used to get information about displayed data (just like ISAP)
• The Y scale of the plots in IA_DARK is now linear, allowing an easier dark current interpolation.
• Updated cookbooks for LWS data analysis are available at http://www.ipac.caltech.edu/iso/lws/lia/lws_recipes.html
• The amount of information communicated to the user by the various tools has increased

ISAP 1.5 or later version, should be installed on your computer. Click here to learn how to download and install the latest ISAP version
 

Step-by-Step Procedure to Install LIA 7.2 or LIA 7.2a

• If you have ISAP 1.5 or 1.6, or you upgraded 1.6 to 1.6a using the patch:
• Shift-Click here to download the gzipped tar file lia_7.2.tar.gz; the file should be placed in your 1.6a/ (or 1.5/ or 1.6/ if still did not retrieve the new ISAP 1.6a version) directory of ISAP (i.e. the directory that contains the files 'isap', 'start_isap.idl', etc...)
• In the 1.6a/  (or 1.5/ or 1.6/) directory unzip and untar the lia_7.2.tar.gz file.
• If instead you made the full 1.6a installation:
• Shift-Click here to download the gzipped tar file lia_7.2a.tar.gz; the file should be placed in your 1.6a/ directory of ISAP (i.e. the directory that contains the files 'isap', 'start_isap.idl', etc...)
• In the 1.6a/ directory unzip and untar the lia_7.2a.tar.gz file.
• Make sure that the contents of pro/lia and /pro/lia/lia_inter directories are world-readable
• Simply type 'isap com' to enter LIA
