for a beam-switching observation with CAM03

In the Beam-switching mode the slewing speed is faster than in the raster mode, but some pointing stabilization time (t) must be added at the end of the slew. The time needed to move from one field to the next is the sum of 2 terms:

  1. t = time for slewing (in sec) with slew angles a few degrees, which must be evaluated for each reference field:

  2. t = 10 sec = time for stabilization of the pointing at the end of the slew.
Finally:

Since the array is read continuously, and without synchronization with the satellite operation, one exposure is lost at the beginning and at the end of each slew. An overhead of is added to each slew, or a total of:

.

One must add the overhead for the DRK, CAL and CLN OPERATIONS when they have been selected.

Find corresponding to the selected dark procedure in Table gif or gif.
