The flat-field accuracy is not a major problem of this array since
the background is always very low in its operating wavelength
range. A standard flat-field accuracy of 3% can be assumed.
Laboratory measurements show that the flat-field is quite stable,
changing by less than 0.2% in 4 hours, and less than 1 % in 24
hours (see also section 
).
