Morphology of bipolar outflow sources

SCIENTIFIC ABSTRACT
   We propose to obtain high spatial resolution ISOCAM images of the 
immediate surroundings of bipolar outflow sources, to study the morphology 
of circumstellar matter interacting with the outflows. Modelling of the IR 
reflection nebulae will also provide information about the nature of the 
dust particles within the circumstellar material. 

OBSERVATION SUMMARY
   The sources should be imaged at 6.7 micron with ISOCAM LW2, at 3"/pxl, 
and at 15.0 micron with ISOCAM LW3, at 6"/pxl. An exposure time of 60 s 
yields a flux limit of 15 microJy per square arcsec (LW2, 3"/pxl) and 13
microJy per square arcsec (LW3, 6"/pxl), much deeper than what can be done 
from the ground.
