IRAS Launch

A Delta 3910 launch vehicle lifts off the launch pad at Vandenberg Air Force Base, carrying the Infrared Astronomical Satellite (IRAS) to orbit. Launch occurred at 6:17 p.m.~(PST) on January 25, 1983.
