  • DVD-ROMs are being shipped out to those who have ordered them.

  • Sun computers running Solaris 8 and earlier versions may not be able to read the last files on some of the disk sides, because of a system driver limit of 4 GB. Solaris 8 systems with a Patch level 109764-04 and later can read past the 4 GB limit and successfully read the last file on the disks. However, systems running Solaris versions earlier than 8, even with the matching Patch 105486-07, fail to read the last files on disk sides containing more than 4 GB. One can list the Patches present in Solaris with the command: % showrev -p .
