Research Interests: Scientific expertise lies in galaxy mergers, starburst activity, and AGN fueling in the nearby (z<0.2) universe, using space-based large areal surveys as well as case study examples. Substantial experience in infrared detector technology, calibration techniques, adaptive optics, spacecraft/telescope design and operation, as well as computational techniques and survey simulations.
